Peanut Butter Cookies


A family favorite peanut butter cookie recipe-soft and chewy:

Mix together in bowl:
1 cup softened butter
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking soda

Roll or scoop into balls, and mash down with a fork dipped in sugar.
Bake for 8-10 minutes at 375.

Melt in your mouth goodness.

    i just made those breadsticks Sunday, and the chicken pot pie Monday. both soo good!

    who can resist peanut butter cookies?! off to check for a cup of peanut butter from the jar...

  4. That's the exact recipe I use! And it always turns out IF I use CHUNKY, not CREAMY peanut butter! And you say you use creamy, isn't that funny?! Ha! They're good either way, really...YUM!

  7. I have made these twice since you posted this and substituted the white flour for whole wheat flour - and they are divine! Seriously melt in your mouth goodness! Thanks for sharing!!
